Health Care Screenings

Nebraska State Statute, #173 NAC 7, requires school districts to provide a health screening to students that are enrolled in our district.

Students in kindergarten, first, second, third, fourth, seventh, and tenth grades must be screened for dental, vision (distance) and height and weight for the purpose of monitoring status at intervals for all students. In addition, students in first and third grades must be screened for hyperopia (near vision).

For more information about health screenings, please select HERE. If you have other questions, please contact the health room at your student's school or the District Head Nurse, Katie Kintzle at (402)715-6322.
